The WSoP is the Olympics of poker and there are million’s of money involved it is held at Binions Horseshoe Casino every year.
It started of with Nick the Greek coming to Las Vegas and wanting to play the biggest poker game ever to be made. He asked Benny Binion if he could set him up with it. He would do it if it would go in front of the public, they agreed. Johnny Moss was going to play against him. The game lasted for 5 months and the only pauses were to sleep and eat and the final winner was Johnny Moss to win with 2 million dollar.
